Here is the art for the new ComStar Champion BattleMech.

It carries a gauss rifle, two SSRM-6s, two ERMLs and moves 5/8. Yes, it has hand actuators - we were tired of the silly shovel arms and Duane Loose's sillier legs.

Wholehardly agreed! The Champion 'mech been in badly need of facelift. Superb work.

But the art is interesting. Keep on going.

This is a well-founded concern. It is difficult to create new machines for BT without reproducing existing canon units. We have tried very hard to avoid duplication. Some of the units will duplicate function - the Capellans and the Kuritans both have an ammunition carrier, and this sort of unit will tend to look the same no matter who designs it. But the units ARE different and both factions need this type of vehicle. Furthermore, many units are examples of new technology coming online.

As for the number of units... we deleted quite a few already, even some with art and writing already complete. What remains should be useful, attractive and fun to read.

One more thing...

Most (not all) of the designs in the TRO:3063 were done by Vadim Antonov, who lives in New York City. He is Russian, I believe. I had to discard most of the art he sent me (and thus the expense of commissioning new art) as it was too derivative, but the designs are largely unchanged. He did a very good job.

These are a pair of aerospace fighters from the fan-made TRO:3063. The Sounder belongs to the Outworlds Alliance, the Machete is fielded by the Federated Commonwealth.

Not sure what 'BT-like' involves, but it IS CG and captures the look of the fighters pretty well. The low-detail background probably accounts for the 'videogame' look.
