RE: LexaTech Industries Factory on Irece
It seems I must myself inform you that, mere weeks after taking possession of Irece, Clan Nova Cat razed LexaTech Industries to the ground. Far from giving a strategic value to the land-air 'Mech, my reliable sources inform me that the Clans consider the machine an abomination, a vehicle neither 'Mech nor fighter and so unfit for either pilot. Clan Nova Cat only made the effort to take the plant undamaged for the pleasure of doing the task thoroughly themselves.

RE: LexaTech Industries Factory on Irece
This intercepted transmission pokes one minor hole in your otherwise excellent report code-named Objective Raids. Apparently, the glory Clan Nova Cat won for taking Irece with the LAM factory intact must be attributed to the Clan's desire to see the facility utterly destroyed. Further investigation by ComStar agents has unearthed photos of the Clan warriors melting each chip in every computer by hand
Unfortunately, the S-4 factory would quickly fall
to Clan Smoke Jaguar during the Clan Invasion. Taking
advantage of the opportunity to humiliate the Combine
further, Clan pilots would go to refi t the Sai with Clan
technology. This S-4C was fitted with entirely Clan
weaponry while the frame was based on a set of blueprints
found in the captured facility. This carried two Streak 4
racks in each wing, a nose-mounted extended-range
PPC, and fourteen double heat sinks at the expense of
some armor.
Upon recovering the plant following Operation
Bulldog, Wakazashi, despite all their eff orts, could not
continue production of the Clan-tech S-4C and downgraded
the line to produce a similar version.
Ghost Bear Khan Bjorn Jorgensson set in motion a plan for his Clan to overcome this challenge. Shortly after capturing the planet Alshain in December of 3051, Ghost Bear technicians began bringing the Bergan Industries plant there back on line. The factory soon began producing the light 'Mechs for which it was tooled, but these antiquated machines were pathetic by Ghost Bear standards. In the lull after the Truce of Tukayyid, Khan Jorgensson ordered the Bergan plant reconfigured to produce a new second-line 'Mech. This 'Mech would combine Inner Sphere components manufactured in the Ghost Bear occupation zone with advanced weapons shipped form factories in Clan space.
The process took much longer than anticipated, mainly because of the basic incompatibility of most Clan and Inner Sphere systems. After more than seven years of work, Clan Ghost Bear solved these challenges and the revamped Bergan factory began producing the first Clan BattleMech entirely designed and manufactured in the Inner Sphere: the Ursus.
Нафига кланам вообще было захватывать ОЗ?
