You can now legitimately mount the suckers on Mobile Structures. (Yeah, that means you now have the rest of the rules for Ridiculously Large Vehicles too. I detect Cray's hand at work.) And yes, you can mount enough of the them to make space vessels cower in fear. Tactical Operations confirms there is a +5 modifier against sub-500 ton vessels with capital weapons
REPAIR FACILITIES - Exact rules are defined. Strategic-level rules such as what benefits these give you will follow in the appropriate book. But now you can build your own Faslane-style yardships.
POWERSATS - Interesting, different, and a way to deliver power via satellites and microwave transmissions. Commonly available in harmless low power density version. The high power density version is a good way to deliver crispy-fried Liaotians.
LASER ANTI-MISSILE SYSTEM - Still in prototype form decades after it was introduced? Sure, okay. Reduces the cluster hit roll just like standard AMS, but now you can reduce it all the way down to 0. Also, finally has a steady heat instead of the 3d6 heat the L-AMS gave you before. Good way for dropships and warships using bay-firing rules to knock down missile swarms.
SUB CAPITAL WEAPONS - A Blakist innovation (Everyone who was surprised by that, raise your hands. Thought so.) circa 3073 that has quickly spread to the Houses. Can be mounted on units as small as support vehicles...barely, and with serious penalties. Capital ranges, but MUCH smaller. Sub-cap autocannon, lasers and missiles exist. They have the same range brackets as capital weapons, but not the same range. At first glance, decently balanced against existing capital weapons. Mostly medium capital range, with a few short and long range weapons, all between 100 and 700 tons and 1-7 capital damage. Sub-cap missiles crit like capital missiles, but not as well.
They're don't have the range of a true capital weapon, but a (SC)Cannon-2 will do 2 damage out to long capital range for only 200 tons. Very effective for smaller warships that don't have to work against fire control limits. Manta Ray missiles fill the other end of the scale, acting as a 5 damage short-range shotgun slug.
The major difference between these and capital weapons? +3 against targets under 500 tons. A missile corvette or Excaliber-type pocket warship packing Piranhas, a couple of screen launchers, a bundle of Manta Rays and a few sub-capital lasers or autocannon against warships is a credible threat to everything from fighters up to light warships.
SUB-COMPACT KF DRIVES - Now you can build a Bug-Eye, completely legit.
ANTI-SHIP MISSILES - You that an Eisensturm was bad news before? It might have just gotten even nastier as a torpedo bomber. Concentrated capital-scale damage, AND it can crit like capital missiles can.
ASEW MISSILES - Screen launchers? Yeah, cute. Really cute. Okay mister warship, how do you like it when the fighters have their own version? Not so funny now, is it?!
TORPEDOS - You can now make an honest to goodness torpedo bomber too.
LIGHT AIR-TO-AIR MISSILE - Sidewinders! Bulkier than rocket launchers, but deliver consistant damage from one missile without the to-hit penalty.
