Q: Why doesn't the GM carry missiles? I have heard... things... about GDI missiles.
A: For practical purposes, the GM uses more armor and heatsinks in place of the bulk and volatility of missile racks. The GM can use externally-carried missile pods and the Shoulder Bazooka for missile artillery. These items are also available for order. Standard Packages do not include these, for the sake of logistical simplicity and easy maintence on part of our most valued customers.

Q: The Small Cockpit was broken in battle. What do I do now?
A: You can of course use a Standard Cockpit, but if you wish to retain the extra ton and the re-routed coolant flow, you may order a Small Cockpit Installation Kit from most reputable suppliers or straight from the AntallosOnTheWire Catalog.

Q: What are these Double HeatSinks I'm hearing about? My GM doesn't have them!
A: The newer versions of the GM carry DHS technology, which processes twice the heat at the same tonnage, if a bit bulkier. Existing GMs may be refit to use the DHS at very little additional cost. Present your valid purchase certificate to take advantage of this warranty, which is valid for this and future updates.

Q: Can't I just order the DHS and have them installed on my own?
A: Of course you can. If you have the proof of purchase, you can have the DHS at a substantial discount, though not as much as you can get from GDI-certified mech shop.

Q: Can I have the GM refit into LAM?
A: No. Only Wasps, Stingers, Phoenix Hawks and other Orguss-frame mechs can be refit to LAM mode.

Q: Will changing the loadout void the warranty for tech updates?
A: It depends. Since the GM was built with tactical flexibility in mind, changing weapons and armor to suit the preferences of the user is taken as 'normal use'. However, modifying critical systems such as the sensors, main controls, or the Engine will count as 'excessive tampering' and void the warranty. Even should you bring the GM into a GDI-certified mech shop, you will have to pay full price for the parts and refit costs.
