HOW MANY BULLETS CAN THE DRACS HAVE

14 January 3073 FSN is pleased to publish this fifteen-part excerpt of a journal recently unearthed on Kentares, dating from the Kentares Massacre itself. In these dark times, the knowledge that we have always fought against the darkness is comforting as we fight against the encroaching zealotry of the Word of Blake.
Harwell is gone. So is Winton, and Edgars, and New Isaacson. They’re all gone.
We’ve been out for a week now, keeping to the woods when we can and using abandoned vehicles to move when we have to. The Dracs aren’t spiking the cars—I guess they didn’t bring that much explosives.
They’re not policing the bodies, either. Not everywhere. I was hungry when I left the mines, but after seeing the pyres in Edgars and the long mass graves in New Isaacson, I don’t know if I’ll ever eat again. My stomach is still cramping from the dry heaves. I understand why the militia shooters had to take off again so soon. If I knew how to shoot well enough I’d be doing the same thing.
We all knew what was going on, back in the mines. The Dracs are killing everyone: not just soldiers, but civilians, men, women, children. They bombed the schools and hospitals last in New Isaacson—the remains of the buildings were still smoldering when we came through.
We’ve seen a few patrols, little groups of Drac infantry moving around and columns of vehicles. The DropShips move across the sky almost constantly. I want to kill them, but I don’t know how. I only have ninety bullets. There are 52 million people on Kentares.
How many bullets can the Dracs have?
