Pasig, Mkuranga Under Attack!

[9 June 3069; ARNN] The Jade Falcon have continued their assaults in the Lyran Alliance today, striking at the worlds of Pasig and Mkuranga. Unconfirmed reports also place heavy fighting on Deia, but the LAAF has not yet commented on those reports.

While we have no precise information on the identity of the exact Jade Falcon Clusters attacking the worlds, we do know that the Twenty-Fifth Arcturan Guards are stationed on Mkuranga. We’re confident that the valiant Lyran defenders can hold back the invading Clans, although with reports of the attacking Jade Falcon force varying from a single raiding Trinary to an entire Galaxy, we cannot yet say how costly that defense will be. Our prayers tonight are with the Lyran sons and daughters again in harm’s way because of the aggressive nature of the Clansmen.
While LAAF officials have confirmed the presence of Jade Falcon troops on Pasig, we do not have current garrison information for any frontline Lyran Alliance Armed Forces troops on that world. The planetary militia is sure to contest the Falcon aggression, and we’ll provide more information as we receive it.
Scattered reports have also reached us claiming combat occurring on Deia. LAAF spokespersons have not commented on these reports, but given the previously-displayed enmity between the Lyran Alliance and the Jade Falcons, any combat there is sure to be swift and violent.
