Our analysts recently captured a Clan Watch document detailing the state of several Clan ProtoMechs in the Homeworlds, and despite their long distance and the rarity of their appearance in the Inner Sphere we felt all Com Guard commanders should be appraised.
The speedy Satyr is already an oft-underestimated recon unit, but the new model is even more fearsome—a light target acquisition gear replaces the extended-range small laser, offering the danger of indirect artillery support against opponents who aren’t intimidated by the Satyr’s anti-personnel Gauss rifle.

The swift Siren ProtoMech is a fantastically fast machine, able to keep pace with even the Dasher OmniMech. The Jade Falcon Stars that deploy this able machine are some of the most feared on in the Occupation Zone, with good reason. Two new configurations imply the Falcons are not content with the ProtoMech's performance, however.
The first replaces the paired light machine guns with an extended-range micro laser, effectively cutting the Siren's dependence on ammunition. Although tied to only one weapon, where the origina had two mounts, the laser is much more able weapon.
The second new configuation is slower than the original, which has freed enough mass for the Falcons to mount an anti-personnel Gauss rifle. Although we have not yet observed this model in actual combat, the stolen ROMs we have viewed have revealed it to be a deadly combatant in packs.
