арт очень красивый, и некоторые вещи - из зоны "ру", что не может не радовать

My Mad Cat Omnimech depicted based on the statsheet after a game of Battletech... not a pretty picture:
Right arm and right torso destroyed.
Left torso LRM-20, ammunition depleted.
Torso-mounted Machine-guns, ammunition depleted.
Torso-mounted Medium-pulse laser, destroyed.
Life-support, destroyed; Head armor breached.
Left arm ER Medium Laser, destroyed.
Left leg actuators (all) destroyed.
Right Ankle, destroyed.
And lo and behold, the last opponent that walks up to my completely and utterly obliterated 75-ton Mad Cat is a fresh, undamaged 100-ton Daishi... Last shot of the game happened right then. Head-shot with my only remaining weapon, my left arm ER Large Laser, critical hit on the Daishi's cockpit, killing the pilot.... and somehow, by some fluke of luck, the return-fire only managed to knock out some of the left arm actuators... but the battle was already over.
This is an illustration I did for a Bttletech game manual entitled, BattleTech Masters & Minions: The StarCorps Dossiers.

The Horatio Bridgelayer is a commission ( one of three so far...)by Steven Satak for his Battletech TRO project.

I decided to show the vehicle with and without the bridge so it's hull details could be seen and yet I could show off how the whole combo looks. The stats required that the vehicle be based on the classic "Galleon" tank, so the headlamps, roadwheels, sponson guns, hatch style and hull details follow that pattern.
The bridgelayer is otherwise much like modern tank based bridgelayers, and uses a "scissors" type folding bridge.
It also has a small troop bay in the rear that can carry a group of infantry or combat engineers, a rather unique feature, something that might be useful.
And, being a "Lee Madison artpiece", it features two cute female vehicle troopers...though very much toned down for the original draft at the request of Mr. Satak.
Personally, I'd love to have a set of these as gaming miniatures for my microscale SF army.
Another Battletech vehicle that was commissioned at the same time as the Horiato Bridgelayer.
The Mastodon uses the flail minesweeper to detonate mines as it drives along, a method thats been in use since WW2. Mr. Satak's project involved two combat engineering vehicles, both of which seem to not be of any interest to the other artists( I guess they weren't as "glamorious" as the mecha or combat vehicles)...so the Artraccoon took a stab at them.
In reality there should be a whole lot more dust and debris flying about, but the vehicle would then be mostly obscrured. The tank is armed with large laser and a small laser cannon.
